Hiya!

I back! Did cha miss me? Of course not..... But anyway, back to my incredibly boring bloggings! (is that even a word...)

So, as you probably read in last blog, I have been to Russia! Of course, I have been getting quite a few "In the Soviet Union" jokes at school, the funniest one for me being when I told this guy I sit next to in maths that I play the piano, he said "You do not play the piano, the piano plays you!" I'm sorry if that was not funny at all, but for some reason I found that incredibly hilarious.

So at the moment I am listening to some Adam Young music, the reason I say Adam Young instead of Owl City is because I am listening to his older music which is listed under other names; Sky Sailing, Port Blue, Swimming With Dolphins. Yh, incase you have not already noticed, I really really really love Adam Young and his amazing talent. If you do not know who this is..... you live in a bin. On the other hand.....if you have only heard of Fireflies, you have been upgraded to living in a crate.

My personal favourites are Kamikaze, Plant Life, Honey and the Bee, Tidal Wave, Denatl Care, Dreams Don't Turn To Dust - Owl City, Captains of the Sky, Brielle - Sky Sailing, Pajama Party, Watercolours - Swimming With Dolphins , and Of Japan, In The Dolphin Tank, Silver Blueberry - Port Blue. Port Blue is not really what you would expect from Adam, it is not really a voice collection, just music that you could have playing in the background of some formal party, as there is no voice in it, but it is still amazing. So if you have no life and are willing to spend about an hour listening to these, feel free ^_^" but please tell me

While I was in Russia I made quite a few notes about the trends there, on the ipad. So I will (probably) be posting those soon haha.

Anyway, I am now in year ten of school, and, as normal people usually do......... I actually like this one guy. It is quite unusual for me as I am friends with a ton of guys, and I have recently started to like one of them. BOOOOOOOO. And what sucks is that I am allowed to have a boyfriend, but I am hardly ever allowed out of the house, and I am definitely not one of those people who make out at school infront of everybody. NO. I am super shy, and would be far too embarrassed. So I don't really see much point of going out with him as the whole thing would basically be over facebook, and a bit of flirting at school haha. Also, he is not really the most popular person at school, as I hang out with the loser guys as they ALWAYS seem to be the bestest of friends, but seriously, the outcasts are the sweetest and kindest of people <3 span="span">

So, here in England it is the Summer Holidays, and for MY holiday I will be visiting RUSSIA!!! (Because I'm half Russian...)
So, because of this, I won't be able to make my regular posts, so expect my next post to be in about a month haha xD
Meanwhilezzzzzz, I'm here overdosing on Lychees (I hardly ever get to buy them) so right now, I would say I'm pretty hyper.

Gee, you know how the stereotype of Russia is cold, cold, cold, vodka, cold, cold, furry hats, cold... You get my point? WELL. Fair enough that you think Russia is cold. It is, IN THE WINTER. Haha
But in the Summer it is so boiling that you will seriously wish that you carried around a ice cold swimming pool that you could randomly dive into. And I'm not even going to start on the mosquitos :P


But I'm still looking forward to seeing my FRIEND (as I only know one) in Russia, because the only way we contact each other is by Skype atm.

At home - Bored

So today I am not going to school as I am Ill. That's pretty annoying as I like school. I LIKE SCHOOL OKAY!?! Don't judge me.. Joking, joking... Anyway, all I think I will be doing today is writing my blog and lying in my bed, because I like making you suffer by reading extremely boring blogs haha I have recently bought a new manga book; Madoka Magica, and it's really good... I love the art aswell! You should definitely check it out. One thing you should know about me is that I have an unhealthy obsession with Japan. It started off as just a love for manga/anime, but now it has become a fully-fledged obsession, well, not as fully-fledged as this girl on Youtube; VenusAngelic. Don't get me wrong, I like her videos, but I just think that they can get a bit cring worthy sometimes as she tries too hard to be cute. Well, MY obsession includes manga, anime, Japanese culture, language, fashion/style, trends, music, electronic devices and so much more... Seriously, you don't even want me to go into all that stuff. Tell me in the comments what you are obsessed with! So I don't feel like such a decrepit outcast... ;) Much Love x

Confuzzled old me

Recently I have been back to my old school, which i really miss... I was pulled out of it in year 8 by my parents and then i was placed in a new school (which sucks, by the way). It's annoying because I'm confuzzled as to who my real friends are at this school. I have been here for almost a year, and I'm STILL confused??! Hah. Well, here goes the list...


Potential Friend 1 - Really great, supportive, funny and we have the same interests. But she is such a copycat. Seriously, I find out about this epic brand of pens and, trust me, within the next week she will have bought the lot. Another problem is that she sometimes just abandons me and goes with someone else when she CLEARLY said she would go with me. I know this is really petty of me, but I just can't help it.


Potential Friend 2 - Funny, sarcastic but seriously fickle. One day she stalks me everywhere, and the other she doesn't seem to realise my existence. E.g. say I am sitting next to her in class, talking to her and then some boy (always a boy, guys) asks her a question, she drops our conversation immediately and begins to structure an essay within speech. Whenever she pauses for a break, I sometimes try to get a word in, but I NEVER succeed. Seriously, once I actually said, to her face, while she was talking to the anonymous guy, "Hey, yeah, you know how your water bottle broke? And I offered to buy you a drink to get you through the day? And you ignored me? Well, Do you still want to drink, because I can buy you some juice or something. But, of course, you are not listening so I might as well ramble on..." AND SHE DID NOT NOTICE ANY OF WHAT I SAID. EVEN WHEN I SAID IT TO HER FACE. Gah.
She also says seriously private and mean things to people behind their backs (to boys, of course) just to look cool.


Potential Friend 3 - This girl is nice, friendly, used to be my BFF (kinda) but now she is really distracted by her other friends.
I once walked up to her when she arrived early to school, we talked and laughed, but then I told her that her other friends were outside. She left, there and then. Making me feel incredibly small and insignificant.


Well, these are just three people out of around 10 - 15.

Wazzaaaa?


So, in this post I wanted to talk about anime and manga. Which I am incredibly obsessed with.
I have recently discovered a new anime show called "Hetalia: Axis Powers/Word Series". IT'S SO CUTEEEEEEEE!!!
Basically, imagine all the countries in the world were a person, e.g. the country Russia would be a person called Russia. Take the typical stereotype of that country and make them cute, and there you go! You have a Hetalia anime character!!
Aww, Italy is adorable, he has a high voice (which is broken, by the way) and is such a sweetie :3 Plus, he is always saying PASTAAAAAAA and when a War is going on, he mass produces white flags.

Sweden, on the other hand, is super scary and secretive, but is actually a really sweet and adorable person on the inside.

I'm Maria, as it clearly states in my title/username thingy. I'm 14 years old. But I am so tall that I look like I'm freaking 17. Tch. Oh well, life goes on.
