This is still crazy to me.

Oh wow it's been a while since I last wrote something here. And it's crazy looking back at how damn weird I was when I wrote blogs - not that I'm any less weird now, but my level of weirdness is less obviously cringey now, I hope.

So. What's going on with me? I'm a student. One of those things you see cowering in the corners of alleyways and in the shadows carrying bags of instant noodles and ice cream. Ben and Jerry's of course, we wouldn't steep any lower than that, we have our limits, cmon.

You're a student, we get it Mari, but what do you study?

Oh so you do actually care?

Hahahh lol no we (who the hell even is this) were just being polite please leave us alone

...

I study Korean Language in the North of England, where people say "ta" instead of thank you and gossiping is even more of a thing than it is normally.

Why Korean though? That's a bit odd.

Excuse you, and I happen to be just a tad obsessed with the culture and language and music and *cough* everything. I want to be in Korea. It's where everything is happening, it's the centre of the world. South Korea is exploding with ingenuity and creativity and, really, "I wanna to be where the people are".

Plus, Korean men are just the best thing ever. Like, have you seen a hideous Korean man? Okay, but you get my point, the majority of them are hella pretty. <3 172cm="" about="" and="" average="" be="" for="" height="" korean="" m="" men="" p="" seems="" that="" the="" to="">
One problem though, Korean Language is, well, a hard language to learn, and I've never been to Korea.

Korean is pretty damn complicated but that ain't getting in the way of my dream, oh hell no.
Imma push through and get the hang of it eventually. I WILL DO IT.

As for the second point, I'M GOING TO SEOUL IN MAY (2017) FOR A MONTH FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE!!!

I can't quite believe that. I'm finally going to Korea. What? It doesn't seem real, I can't get over it. But I'm going to have to because I need to get sorted! All the places that I want to go, all the things I want to see, as well as all the men I want to ogle at (don't judge).

I also think that I should start summarising things that I understand in Korean here so that I can learn it better whilst teaching other people (hopefully not wrong) things.

Adios, friends!
